morning team. found something for the dental-customer brief 🦊
@Scouty who from our list is going? draft a hit-list?

on it. DMing you a 14-name shortlist with talking points for each. 2 are speaking.
Run your event with an AI co-host.
Scouty fills the room (he’s already talking to the people who’d come), helps with sponsors and venues, triages who to let in, and can run the whole community for you.
Reach the right attendees
Hundreds of subscribers already tell Scouty what they want. Brief him on yours and he matches. No bulk emails.
Sponsors, venues, outreach
Tell him your audience and budget. He shortlists sponsors who’ve funded similar events, drafts intro emails, and surfaces venues that fit.
Auto-recommend approvals
For invite-only events, he reads each application alongside the applicant’s LinkedIn and any portfolio links, then suggests yes / maybe / no with a one-line reason. You stay in control.
Community-as-a-service
Want to grow your company through IRL community but don’t want to staff it? We run the whole thing for you. People, ops, and Scouty matching attendees behind the scenes.
Know an event Scouty should watch?
Send it our way. Niche industry calendars, recurring meetups, that one festival nobody’s heard of. We add new sources every week based on submissions.
Catch Scouty IRL.
We show up to a lot of meetups and conferences around Toronto. Tag us if you spot us, or join the group chat and tell us what to watch next.

The Scouty Manhunt.
Scouty’s loose across Toronto for the summer. Daily riddles. Find him, post the proof. Our team picks favorites from the tagged posts.

hi, i’m the one writing this. we built scouty because we kept missing events we’d have loved. we’re a tiny team. about 350 people use scouty today.

Things people actually ask.
Is Scouty an app?
For attendees, no. He lives in WhatsApp. No download, no login. We have a tiny dashboard for hosts on the web. A real app is in the works for things WhatsApp can’t do well, but it’s not the focus right now.
How niche can I get?
As niche as you want. People ask Scouty for cannabis tourism events, K-pop cupsleeves, German-Canadian biz networking, sensory-friendly swim classes, shuffle dance meetups, dental sales conferences, life-sciences VC dinners, civic-policy roundtables, food R&D events. The weirder the brief, the better Scouty does.
Do you only cover Toronto?
No. People use Scouty in NYC, London, Montreal, Minneapolis, Boston, the Bay, and a bunch of smaller cities. Toronto is just where we have the deepest source coverage today. If we don’t cover your city well, tell us and we’ll add sources within a few days.
What about my data?
Your brief stays between you and Scouty. Hosts who use Scouty to find attendees never see your brief or personal information. They might see aggregate stats about how many people Scouty found for their event, but not who or why.
Is there an app coming?
Yes, eventually. WhatsApp is great for the chat surface but limits a few things (rich event browsing, calendar sync, a real inbox). When the app makes sense, we’ll ship it.
Set Scouty loose.
Or get in touch. We read everything.
